Rilo Kiley
Rilo Kiley, a four member indie rock band that started in 1998, is partly made up of some former child stars, namely Jenny Lewis of the 1989 chick-flick Troop Beverly HIlls, and Blake Sennett of Nickelodeon’s Salute Your Shorts. They must have some weird connection with summer camps. The two met through Fred Savage of The Wonder Years and started the band shortly after. Talk about a child star menagerie….
Rilo Kiley Band
How the name Rilo Kiley was chosen is still not completely known. Guitarist Sennet has stated it came to him in a dream while in other interviews claimed it was from a scottish sports Almanac. Either way they are an excellent band with five great albums. I’ll be sure to review a few when the time allows.
